RONALD P. BOSSERT, MD
Dr. Bossert is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, specializing in aesthetic plastic surgery of the body and face, with a particular expertise in plastic surgery following weight loss.
After graduating cum laude from Haverford College with a degree in Biology, Dr. Bossert earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester and was one of less than 100 graduates nationally selected for dedicated, integrated plastic surgery training. Following his residency, he completed a distinguished one-year fellowship in body contouring surgery after weight loss under the direction of Dr. Peter Rubin at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He then served as staff plastic surgeon at the University of Rochester for 8 years, honing his skills and serving as the Director of the Life After Weight Loss Program. While there, he also served as residency Program Director, a role dedicated to training the next generation of plastic surgeons. Dr. Bossert entered private practice after moving to Charleston in 2020 and is dedicated to providing the region’s highest level of plastic surgical care.
